Acreage Greater Than 100 Acres

During the past year there have been six properties without improvements between 100 and 200 acres listed on the Multiple Listing Service sold in Gillespie County.  The price range for these properties ranged from approximately $4255 per acre for about 116 acres to approximately $8500 per acre for about 188 acres both of which were in the northwest part of the county.  The average price per acre was approximately $6155.  Four properties sold were in the northwest part of the county and 2 were in the northeast.  

There was only one property greater than 200 acres without improvements in Gillespie County listed in the Multiple Listing Service sold the past year.  It was approximately 300 acres in the northeast section of the county which sold for approximately $7750 per acre.

 As of May 6, 2009, there are 16 properties greater than 100 acres with no improvements available on the MLS.
